Profesor investigador en el Departamento de Ciencias Exactas y Tecnología desde 2004. Integrante del Cuerpo Académico de Tecnología de Materiales. Líneas de investigación y Generación del Conocimiento: Fabricación y Caracterización de materiales cerámicos ópticamente activos. Licenciatura en ingeniería electrónica por el Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya, Maestría en Ingeniería eléctrica por la Universidad de Guanajuato y Doctorado en Ciencias (Óptica) por el Centro de Investigación en óptica.
