Semblanza

El Dr. Rider Jaimes Reátegui, nació en la ciudad de Huánuco-Perú, el 1 de Abril de 1970. El Dr. Jaimes estudió su Doctorado en el Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica A. C. CIO –México, realizando su investigación doctoral en la Universidad de Los Ángeles California, EEUU., presentando su tesis sobre DYNAMIC OF COMPLEX SYSTEMWITH PARAMETRIC MODULATION: DUFFING OSCILLATORS AND A FIBER LASER (2004). Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (S.N.I.) nivel II, México, con Reconocimiento de Profesor con Perfil Deseable por la Secretaria de Educación Pública (SEP) México,   Desde el 2004 el Dr.  Jaimes es Profesor Investigador Titular C del Centro Universitario de los Lagos de la Universidad de Guadalajara, en Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, México.

Memoria y compuerta lógica óptica en un láser de10 fibra dopada con erbio operando en régimen no lineal y multi estable
Descripción del proyecto de Investigación Descripción de la Etapa:
El propósito de este trabajo de investigación es desarrollar compuertas lógicas ópticas y encontrar el efecto de memoria a largo plazo en un láser de fibra dopada con erbio.
En esta propuesta, compuertas lógicas ópticas son realizadas por un láser de fibra óptica dopada con erbio (LFDEs) operando en el régimen no lineal y multi estable, y su funcionamiento es caracterizado por la modulación de dos señales cuadradas como señales logicas y una señal ruidosas aplicada al diodo láser de bombeo de un láser de fibra dopada con erbio, y la existencia de la banda optima de amplitud de ruido externo, permite el fenómeno de resonancia estocástica; donde la señal de respuesta del láser de fibra dopada con erbio a la modulación externa (señal ruidosa), sea una combinación lógica de señales láser de salida, haciendo la veces de una compuerta lógica óptica
